It was truly a pleasure biking in honor of 1LT Ashley White. I felt a deep connection with her mother and will always keep Ashley in my heart when biking. Her memory will live on.

I met many passionate bikers and forged friendships with quite a few. We hope to meet again next year to assist you and the National Guard in honoring our fallen Soldiers.  Also, I would like to thank you and all of your assistants for orchestrating a very well organized cycle gathering.

I found all military and their assistants to be honorable, respectful and willing to go that extra mile to make this trip enjoyable for us. While I did find the cots a little hard, the time spent at the Armory getting to know fellow cyclist made it all worthwhile and memorable.

I also want to personally thank you for your unwavering efforts to keep us safe during the ride.  You made me tired just watching you expending that extra energy to keep the group together and focused. You are a great leader and your energy and enthusiasm was Contagious !

I do not have a military background but my father was a navy reserve  pilot; so forgive me if I have not used the proper salutations in this note.  This was only my third group ride since I usually bike alone and just learned to clip in a month ago. I joined this group to break my record of 68 Miles and thus I was successful in meeting my personal goals as well.

Looking forward to next year. It was a fun time and I am honored to have been a part of this mission!

Sincerely yours,

Renae  L. Farrah

Thanks to you and the whole staff for a terrific ride! This was my first time that I could ride both days, and I enjoyed it immensely. The ability to ride in Eastern NC and to help, not only the educational foundation but to deliver food to those in need after hurricane Florence, was a wonderful experience. Good ride, plus good cause, equals a terrific experience. I had a terrific time, and plan on riding next year.

Again, thank you and your staff for the friendship and leadership of the ride. Well done.

Sincerely,

Calvin Shaw

Thank you for those two fun days riding and socializing. I realize how many of your people work hard (driving, loading, unloading, setting up tables... etc) to give us cyclists a great riding experience. Thanks so much to all of them!!

Big amen to your comments. Easily one of the  best rides we have ever been on.  We had been away from the military way of thinking and doing for so long that it sort of felt like going 'home'.  Please include us on the email list for 2019 as we would like to do it again.

Best regards, Allan & Harriet Buss (71 and 73 years young)
