Enjoy the ride...

We welcome you to the Guard 2 Beach ride.  This is NOT a race, it is a ride. We have tried to make it an enjoyable ride for everyone, keep spinning, keep smiling!

Equipment

“Participants are responsible for their own equipment before and during the ride. Minimal support for mechanical issues will be available but will not take the place of proper preparation of your equipment. SAG vehicles will be equipped with tire pumps and tire repair supplies and may be able to provide minor repair assistance.

On the route

We have made every effort to avoid heavily trafficked roads but there will be times when it is a necessity to cross or ride for short distances on these roads. Caution should be taken in these circumstances and riding defensively will improve the possibility you will be seen and avoid interactions with powered vehicles. Teamwork is also essential. We will do our very best to make the ride an enjoyable, relaxing experience. During the actual cycling – stronger riders should help out those who may not be as far along.
